The Frontiers of Life – OHP Summer School
We are delighted to announce the 3rd International Summer School at the Observatoire de Haute-Provence (OHP), organized by the Institut Origines of Aix-Marseille University. This event will take place from June 24 to June 27, 2025, and will explore one of the most fundamental questions in science: What is life?
🔬 From its definition to the conditions of its emergence, diversity, and evolution, this Summer School will provide an interdisciplinary perspective on the frontiers of life. Through lectures delivered by world-renowned experts in prebiotic chemistry, microbiology, exobiology, planetary science, astrophysics, philosophy, and law, participants will gain insights into current knowledge and competing theories across different spatial and temporal scales.

- Keynote lectures by leading scientists and scholars
- Roundtable discussions moderated by an award-winning science journalist
- Ample time for networking and in-depth discussions among participants
